Cam token refunds are rare and tightly conditioned: Stripchat refunds your last unused package within 30 days, MyFreeCams refunds purchases of the past 30 days up to $1,000 if enough tokens remain (new members in full if no more than 200 tokens were used), CamSoda refunds only billing errors, and BongaCams treats purchases as final. Streamate and Chaturbate publish no refund policy.
Short answer: You can sometimes get cam tokens refunded, but only within the narrow rules each site publishes, and never for tokens you have already spent. The most generous published rules are Stripchat's 30-day refund of the last unused package and MyFreeCams' 30-day money refund up to $1,000. CamSoda refunds billing errors only, and BongaCams' terms call all transactions final.
This guide quotes each provider's own refund rule, checked on 25 October 2026, and explains the order in which to ask: site support first, bank last. We have not requested refunds ourselves, so we report the rules, not outcomes.
Which cam sites refund tokens?
Four of the six sites publish a refund rule: Stripchat, CamSoda, BongaCams and MyFreeCams. Streamate and Chaturbate do not publish one on the help pages we checked, so for those two the policy is not published by the provider as of 25 October 2026. The table gives the one-line version of each rule, with details below.
| Site | Refund rule in one line | Deadline | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| Stripchat | Last purchased package, tokens unused, card or PayPal | 30 days | Stripchat help centre |
| MyFreeCams | Money refund of a purchase if enough tokens remain, up to $1,000; new members: full refund if no more than 200 tokens used | 30 days | MyFreeCams billing help |
| CamSoda | Only duplicate billing, technical errors, unauthorized or disputed charges | Not stated | CamSoda help centre |
| BongaCams | Transactions final; token compensation after malfunction or refused content | Complaint within 24 hours | BongaCams terms 5.12 to 5.16 |
| Streamate | Not published | – | Streamate FAQ and support |
| Chaturbate | Not published | – | Chaturbate help centre |
What does Stripchat refund?
Stripchat refunds only your last purchased token package, and only if the purchase was within the last 30 days, none of its tokens have been used, and you paid by card or PayPal. You ask through customer support, each request is reviewed individually, and repeated requests may be limited.
So an unused package bought last week by card qualifies; a package bought with paysafecard or crypto does not, and neither does an older package or one you have started spending. If tokens never arrived, that is a delivery issue with its own troubleshooting article, not a refund. Full context in the Stripchat review.

What does MyFreeCams refund?
MyFreeCams refunds any purchase made in the past 30 days back to the card used, up to $1,000, provided you still have enough tokens in your account; it also issues token refunds for technical problems and for unsatisfactory private shows if you end the show as soon as possible. Its billing help asks you to contact support and not to ask your card issuer directly.
The same page adds a rule for new members, quoted in full: "As part of our 100% satisfaction guarantee, new members that are not satisfied with our website may contact us for a full refund within 30 days of their purchase as long as they have not used more than 200 tokens." It also says partial refunds to the card are not possible.
This is the clearest money-back rule among the sites we cover, with the condition that the tokens must still be there. Spent tokens are not refunded.
What does CamSoda refund?
CamSoda's tokens are generally non-refundable once delivered, except for duplicate billing, technical errors, unauthorized transactions, and fraud or charge disputes. For an unauthorized charge, CamSoda asks you to contact its billing support immediately and the billing provider, which it names as Epoch, Segpay or CCBill depending on the transaction.
One automatic case exists on the private show page: if a model disconnects or ends a show early, the unused time is refunded to your balance. Time actually used is not refunded. See the CamSoda review.
What does BongaCams refund?
BongaCams' terms say all transactions should be considered final and that refunds in tokens may be given but are never obligatory. Clause 5.14 allows proportional token compensation when tokens are lost through a site malfunction or a performer in a private show completely refuses to provide content; clause 5.15 says only the full original amount can be refunded, so a partly used package is at most restored as tokens.
Clause 5.12 requires complaints within 24 hours of the incident, and clause 5.16 excludes gifts. Act quickly and contact customer support first, as the terms request. Details in the BongaCams review.
| BongaCams clause | What it says |
|---|---|
| 5.12 | Complaints within 24 hours |
| 5.14 | Token compensation after malfunction or refused private content |
| 5.15 | Only the full original amount; no partial refund of packages |
| 5.16 | Gifts and related services not refundable |
What about Streamate and Chaturbate?
Neither Streamate nor Chaturbate publishes a refund policy on the FAQ, support or help centre pages we checked, so the honest statement is: not published by the provider as of 25 October 2026. Streamate's per-minute billing means you never prepay a package, and its daily limit, which can be lowered to $25, caps exposure; Chaturbate sells packages and offers an optional auto refill that you can switch off.
For both, the published route is customer support with the date and time of the session or purchase. Read the Streamate review for the billing model.

How do you ask for a refund?
Contact the site's customer or billing support first, give the purchase date, amount and the name on your statement, and only involve your bank for an unauthorized charge or if support does not respond. Stripchat, CamSoda and MyFreeCams all describe this order, and MyFreeCams explicitly asks you not to go to the card issuer first.
A chargeback without contacting the site can lead to the account being closed and does not help with tokens already spent. The bank statement names guide helps you identify the charge before you write to support.
How do you avoid needing a refund?
Buy the smallest package that covers what you plan to do, keep automatic refills switched off, check per-minute prices and minimum durations before a private show, and on sites with a daily limit set it to an amount you are comfortable with. Those habits remove most of the situations behind refund requests.
The how cam tokens work guide explains token values and show pricing, and the best live cam sites hub scores refund terms as one of five criteria.
What counts as a billing error?
A billing error is a charge that does not match a purchase you made: a duplicate charge for one purchase, a charge after a failed transaction, a charge you did not authorise, or tokens that were paid for but never delivered. CamSoda lists duplicate billing, technical errors, unauthorized transactions and fraud disputes as its refundable cases, and Stripchat handles missing tokens as a delivery problem separate from refunds.
A show you did not enjoy is not a billing error on any site we cover; only MyFreeCams mentions unsatisfactory private shows, and only if you end the show as soon as possible. A per-minute charge for time you spent in a session is not refundable anywhere on published rules.
| Situation | Treated as | Where to go |
|---|---|---|
| Charged twice for one purchase | Billing error | Site billing support, then processor |
| Tokens paid but not delivered | Delivery issue | Site support (Stripchat has a troubleshooting article) |
| Charge you did not make | Unauthorized transaction | Site billing support and processor immediately (CamSoda) |
| Show ended early by the model | Unused time refunded automatically on CamSoda | Automatic; otherwise site support |
| Did not like the show | Not a billing error | MyFreeCams may refund tokens if ended promptly |
Refund request checklist
Gather the purchase date, the amount, the name on your statement, the package or session concerned and the method you paid with, then write to the site's support with those five facts. Stripchat reviews each request individually, MyFreeCams asks you to contact support rather than the card issuer, and BongaCams needs the complaint within 24 hours.
Expect the answer to follow the published rule rather than goodwill: an unused package within the window on Stripchat, a money refund up to $1,000 on MyFreeCams if the tokens remain, a billing-error refund on CamSoda, token compensation on BongaCams. Where a site publishes no policy, as Streamate and Chaturbate do not, ask anyway, but plan as if the answer were no.
FAQ
Can I get a refund for cam tokens?
Only under each site's published rule: Stripchat refunds the last unused package within 30 days, MyFreeCams refunds purchases of the past 30 days up to $1,000 if enough tokens remain (new members in full if no more than 200 tokens were used), CamSoda refunds billing errors only, and BongaCams calls transactions final.
Does Stripchat refund tokens?
Yes, the last purchased package, if bought within 30 days, unused, and paid by card or PayPal. Request it through customer support.
Does Streamate refund GOLD?
Streamate publishes no refund policy on the pages we checked as of 25 October 2026. Contact customer support with the session date and time.
How fast do I have to complain on BongaCams?
Within 24 hours of the incident, according to clause 5.12 of the terms.
Should I do a chargeback instead?
Not as a first step. Contact the site's support first; MyFreeCams and others ask you not to go to the card issuer directly, and a chargeback can lead to the account being closed.
